The Spankers hrají v současné sestavě od léta 2009. the Spankers v únoru následujícího roku vydali své první EP "Right in the Morning", na které navázali úspěšným debutovým albem Boom! Bang! Pow! You Know… Za tuto desku je neminula nominace na žánrové ceny Anděl 2010. S velmi oblíbeným videoklipem k pilotní písni Superman se The Spankers dostali i do hitparády České televize – Medúza.

Z živých vystoupení má kapela the spankers na svém účtu festivaly jako Sázava Fest, Trutnov Open Air, Mighty Sounds, Reggae Meeting, United Islands, klubové koncerty s americkými The Aggrolites, finskými Valkyrians či českými Fast Food Orchestra.

V zimě 2011 odcestovali The Spankers na měsíční turné po Brazílii, kde se setkali s velkým úspěchem, díky němuž už teď plánují tour po Argentině a Brazílii na rok 2012. Kapele hrající energický reggae-pop vévodí medový hlas krásné a charismatické zpěvačky Sisy Feherové. The Spankers dokážou vytvořit báječnou a uvolněnou atmosféru a rozhodně stojí za to jejich koncert navštívit.
